Logan hauled the wounded Burr Harrison inside under fire, then slipped out at night and walked about 150 miles to the Holston settlements for powder. He later helped write Kentucky's first constitution, then settled on Bullskin Creek near Finchville in Shelby County, where he died in 1802.
